These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of Virtual Media's Website, located at https://do-expeditions.com/.
Welcome to www.do-expeditions.com! We specialize in providing unforgettable adventure experiences. By booking a trip with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions, which form the basis of your contract with www.do-expeditions.com (represented by VIRTUAL MEDIA, marketing and services, owner Ante Pavić, Kneza Branimira 1., 21 230 Sinj, Croatia) and their clients.
The Company brand and the website as well as all its components (programming code, design, photographs, text, etc.) and all subpages are the intellectual property of the company owners and thus protected by copyrights. Any copying, usage or abuse of the brand and/or website and its components is subject to litigation according to local law.
Acceptance of Terms
By booking an adventure with us, whether through our website, over the phone, via email, by making a payment without preorder or any other method, you accept these Terms and Conditions on behalf of yourself and all members of your party.
Booking and Payments
For bookings made more than 30 days before the trip start date, a deposit of 30% of the total cost is required. The balance is due 30 days prior to departure.
Bookings made within 30 days of the trip start date require full payment at the time of booking.
Payment methods will be specified on our website or by our representatives.
Subject to the availability of chosen arrangements, we will confirm an activity by issuing a confirmation invoice. This invoice will be sent to the Client who booked the activity, regardless of the amount of people in the group. The Client must check the invoice carefully and contact us immediately if any information which appears on the confirmation or any other document appears to be incorrect or incomplete.
The Company reserves the right to cancel, change or modify any facilities without notice, including changing or altering venues, routes and prices. In the event of a change, the Company will endeavor to substitute alternative arrangements of comparable monetary value without compensation and accept no liability for loss of enjoyment as a result of these changes. All this is done for the best possible experience of our clients.
Your event content, services and price are included in the final offer. The final offer stands as a confirmation statement of selected services and is a part of the Company's contract with the Client. The package price does not include (unless agreed otherwise):
- optional (non-obligatory/additional) excursions and visits,
- costs of obtaining and issuing visas, if any,
- fishing licence and other extra services,
- travel insurance,
- any other services not specified in the offer.
All prices are in € (Euros) if not stated otherwise.
In case the Client is late to an activity, we will always try to provide you with the activity later than originally planned, but if this is not possible, you are not eligible for a refund. If you know you will be late, please inform us as soon as possible.
COVID-19 / Extreme circumstances refund
In the event of the government closing borders or any other official restrictions that prevent travel to the country on your chosen dates, we offer either a date change free of charge or a refund. In case of a date change, we reserve the right to adjust the booking price according to potential price change of any part of the Client's offer.
Cancellations and Changes by You
Cancellation fees depend on the timing of your cancellation notice:
100% of the trip costs will be refunded for cancellations up to 30 days before departure.
50% of the trip costs will be refunded for cancellations between 7-15 days before departure.
None (0%) of the trip costs will be refunded for cancellation for less than 7 days notice before the departure or no-show.
If for any reason you wish to finish any activity early, you are not entitled to a refund or any discount.
Cancellations and Changes by Us
We reserve the right to cancel or modify trips due to insufficient participants, safety concerns, or other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, we will offer alternative arrangements or a full refund, except in cases of force majeure.
Liability and Insurance
www.do-expeditions.com is not liable for personal injury, property damage, or other losses beyond our control. We highly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance.
Participation in adventure activities carries inherent risks. You must assess your own suitability and accept these risks.
All clients need to have a valid identification document with them at all times. As stated by the law, every citizen or country's visitor is obliged to have a valid ID present, and if asked to be identified by the police, the Client is aware that they could be charged with a penalty if they failed to do so.
If the Client books a service on behalf of additional individuals, they are required to ensure that every additional individual meets any requirements set by the Company, and is made aware of and agrees to these Terms and any terms and conditions, rules and restrictions set by the Company.
If the Client books a service for an additional individual who is a minor, they represent and warrant that they are the parent or legal guardian of the minor. The Company may, in his or her sole discretion, require the Client to sign a liability waiver or assumption of risk form.
Health and Safety
Participants must declare any medical conditions or disabilities at the time of booking. We may require a medical certificate. Failure to disclose relevant information can result in termination of your trip without refund.
We reserve the right to refuse the Client's entry or remove them from activities due to various reasons such as the Client being drunk, disorderly, aggressive, abusive or practicing any anti-social behaviour. The Company accepts no liability in mentioned events and refunds are not possible in such circumstances.
Complaints
If you have a complaint during your trip, please inform your guide or our representative immediately to allow us the opportunity to rectify the situation.
Complaints made at a later time will not be taken into consideration. Should the complaint be presented during the tour and the problem remains unresolved another complaint must be made in writing to the Company within 24 hours of the completion of the tour.
Privacy Policy
By making a booking every Client agrees that the Company has the right to publish all the photos and videos that were made during the event (the photos and videos could include every Client) in promotional and commercial intentions. If the Client does not agree, they should state that before the beginning of a tour/activity.
Your personal information will be used solely for the purpose of processing your booking and will not be shared with third parties except as required by law.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions and any disputes arising out of or related to our services shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where www.do-expeditions.com is registered.
Acknowledgment of Risk
By booking, you acknowledge that adventure travel and the activities it involves carry inherent risks. You accept these risks and agree to participate at your own risk.
Code of Conduct
You agree to abide by local laws, respect customs and culture, and follow the guidance of our staff and partners during your trip.

These Terms and Conditions are effective as of May 6th, 2024 and are subject to change without notice. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms and Conditions.
